High school juniors and seniors have a unique opportunity to experience campus life and take a three-credit class with Summer Scholars.
Offered through Dual Enrollment at Cedarville University, this on-campus, two-week session in mid-June is a great way to get a taste of college life at a fraction of the cost and jump-start your future degree program!
Online dual enrollment classes are also available during summer Sessions A and B.
Incoming Freshmen
Headed to Cedarville University this fall but want to ease into the transition? Early Start is the perfect way to get your feet wet, make some new friends, and experience campus life while getting a head start on your degree program!
This on-campus, two-week session in mid-June runs alongside Summer Scholars, allowing students to complete a three-credit general education course at a fraction of the normal cost.
Online classes are also available during summer Sessions A and B. Contact the Office of the Registrar to register for online summer classes.
Undergraduate Students

Current Cedarville University students may register for Sessions A and B online via myCU during registration for fall semester. The Non-Traditional Course Request form from the Office of the Registrar (SSC 132) must be used to register for non-traditional courses.
Non-Degree-Seeking Students
If you are a student at another college or university looking for affordable and flexible online summer courses, summer school at Cedarville University is open to you!
You will need to apply to Cedarville as a non-degree-seeking student to participate in summer school. Once you have been accepted to the University and have paid your enrollment deposit, please contact the Office of the Registrar to register for summer online classes.

2026 Summer School Cost Information
- Traditional undergraduate tuition for summer online courses (Sessions A and B) is $525 per credit hour plus the standard $35 per credit hour technology fee.
- Undergraduate tuition for non-traditional and international programs is $1,021 per credit hour.
- Online undergraduate student tuition is $375 per credit hour for summer online courses (Sessions A and B) for full time (12+ credits) or $525 per credit hour for part time, plus the standard $150 per term undergraduate online student services fee.
- Costs for Summer Scholars and Early Start are $1,208, which includes tuition for one three-credit course ($555) plus housing and meals ($653) during the two-week session.
- On-campus housing and meals are $333 per week.
Payment Schedule
Payment for summer school is due over three dates: May 4, June 1, July 1.
